• Chicago Beer Festival (Saturday March 30)
Dozens of domestic and international breweries are participating in the Chicago Beer Festival in Union Station’s Great Hall (210 S. Canal) on Saturday. Tickets are $40 and include unlimited tastings. • Chicago White Sox Opening Day (Monday April 1)
It’s opening day at U.S. Cellular Field on Monday. The White Sox will battle the Kansas City Royals at 3:10pm.
• Chicago Improv Festival (Monday April 1-Sunday April 7)
The Chicago Improv Fesitval is broken down into nine categories, including long and short form, experimental, musical, puppetry among others. Similarly styled shows are in the same venue so it’s easy for audience members to choose what they would like to see. The cost for shows range from free to $25, with many offering student discounts and accepting donations.
